Master's Degree in Counselling & Spirituality was awarded upon completion of theoretical and practical training in counselling techniques, models and modes of intervention such as psychodynamic, cognitive-behaviourial (CBT), interpersonal, Gestalt, Humanistic, Person-Centred and Emotion-Focused approaches. During the period of training, interns are also sensitized to existential and spiritual dimensions of personal experiences and how to remain vigilant to client's needs in a respectful, non-judgemental manner, for people of all religious / non-religious backgrounds. Volunteer work at:

Picture
During my years in study and training, I had the opportunity and honour of volunteering at the Royal Ottawa Hospital in various capacities, such as assisting the elderly mental-health ward residents during their meal times. During this experience I came in contact with the powerful impact of mental-health care that we can have in helping recovery of serious mental-health issues. I was also honoured to be a part of a team of volunteers who made the residents feel supported during their struggle and recovery at the hospital.
